What we collect
Bestie stores account identifiers from Sign in with Apple, quiz categories, the multiple-choice questions in your quizzes (AI-written, picked from our question bank, or written by you), selected answers, submitted responder names, response scores, consent versions, first-party responder cookies, IP hashes for abuse prevention, reports, blocks, moderation actions, a monthly count of AI-written questions, and purchase entitlement records (which product you bought, and when a subscription expires).
AI and moderation
When you create a quiz, its category and the prompts already in it are sent to a third-party AI service, which writes the multiple-choice questions. Submitted names, generated questions and questions you write yourself are checked by automated moderation, which also uses a third-party AI service. The app asks for your agreement before any quiz content leaves your phone, and web responders agree before their name is checked.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, run advertising SDKs in v1, create anonymous message channels, or synthesize fake responses.
Deletion
Account deletion soft-deletes the account and purges owned quizzes and responses from the active product tables.
